Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Klik Finance ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you access or use our decentralized token launchpad platform at https://klik.finance/ (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you use our Service, you may provide us with:

  • Wallet addresses when you connect your cryptocurrency wallet
  • Token creation parameters (names, symbols, supply, etc.)
  • Communication information when you contact us (email addresses, message content)
  • Any other information you choose to provide

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access our Service, we automatically collect limited technical information for security and functionality purposes:

  • IP address — used solely for rate limiting to prevent abuse; not stored long-term
  • Browser local storage — we store your selected network (Ethereum/Base) and swap slippage preference on your device only; this data never leaves your browser
  • Session data — a randomly assigned display emoji stored in session storage for the duration of your visit; contains no personally identifying information

We do not use analytics software, do not track page views or clickstream data, and do not collect device fingerprints or user agent information.

1.3 Blockchain Data

Blockchain transactions are public and permanently recorded on distributed ledgers. Once information is recorded on a blockchain, it cannot be modified or deleted by us or anyone else.

When you create tokens or interact with smart contracts through our Service, the following information is publicly visible and permanently stored on the blockchain:

  • Your wallet address
  • Transaction hashes and timestamps
  • Token contract addresses and deployment data
  • Token transfers and transaction history
  • Smart contract interactions

We do not control blockchain data. This data is publicly accessible to anyone and may be analyzed or aggregated by third parties. We currently support Ethereum, Base, and other blockchain networks we may add from time to time.

1.4 Information from Third Parties

We use the following third-party services which may process data in connection with your use of the Service:

  • Wallet providers (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.) — handle wallet connection; we only receive your public wallet address
  • Pinata — IPFS pinning service used to store token images and metadata you upload when creating a token
  • Moralis / Ankr / Blockscout — blockchain data APIs used to retrieve token holder information; no personal data is sent to these services
  • Public blockchain explorers — on-chain data is publicly accessible by these and any other third parties

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To process and facilitate token creation and deployment
  • To communicate with you about the Service when you contact us
  • To detect, prevent, and address abuse, security issues, and technical problems (including rate limiting by IP)
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service
  • To display information about tokens created on our platform

3. How We Share Your Information

3.1 With Service Providers

We share data with third-party service providers only as necessary to operate the Service. This includes our server infrastructure provider, Pinata (IPFS storage for token images and metadata), and blockchain data APIs (Moralis, Ankr, Blockscout) used to display on-chain information. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.

3.2 For Legal Reasons

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to legal processes, court orders, government requests, investigations of potential violations of our Terms of Service, or to comply with anti-money laundering (AML) or know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.

3.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

3.4 With Your Consent

We may share your information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

3.5 Public Blockchain Data

As described in Section 1.3, blockchain transactions are inherently public. Any transaction you make through our Service will be publicly visible on the respective blockchain network and may be viewed, analyzed, or aggregated by anyone, including blockchain explorers, analytics companies, researchers, and other third parties.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods vary based on the nature of the information, legal and regulatory requirements, dispute resolution needs, and security and fraud prevention purposes.

Blockchain data is permanent and immutable. We cannot delete, modify, or control information recorded on blockchain networks, even after you stop using our Service.

5. Browser Storage

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. We use your browser's built-in storage mechanisms solely to save your in-app preferences locally on your device:

  • Selected network (localStorage) — remembers whether you were using Ethereum or Base between visits
  • Swap slippage setting (localStorage) — saves your preferred slippage tolerance
  • Session display emoji (sessionStorage) — a randomly assigned emoji shown next to your wallet; cleared when you close the browser tab
  • First visit flag (localStorage) — records whether you have seen the intro modal so it is not shown again

None of this data is transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. You can clear it at any time through your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, regular security assessments, access controls and authentication mechanisms, and monitoring for suspicious activity.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys. We do not have access to your private keys and cannot recover them if lost.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

8. International Data Transfers

When we transfer personal information internationally, we implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, including standard contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information as soon as possible.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party services, including wallet providers, blockchain explorers, exchanges, or other DeFi protocols. We process your personal information based on the following legal bases:

  • Consent: When you have given explicit consent for specific processing activities
  • Contract Performance: To fulfill our contractual obligations to provide the Service
  • Legal Obligation: To comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Legitimate Interests: For our legitimate business interests, such as improving the Service and preventing fraud

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with applicable law.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
